FROM RECOGNIZING TO SELF-FORMING

Eighteen notepads, 108 fillin questions

The new blocks practice pointing, questioning, much or very, emphatically possession, liking, connection words, time view and result forms. The four existing blocks about namings, verbs, agreement and numbers remain available.

First write without help. Then use the indication and the font keyboard if necessary. The trainer accepts pre-defined model forms and named variants; he does not assess a free paragraph.

A PROPOSAL · NO MANDATORY PACE

Four weeks, about 15 minutes a day

Use five minutes to retrieve something, five minutes for new material and five minutes for your own application. A lesson may take longer; it is a feasible rhythm.

Week 4 · Tell yourself

Self-checking going beyond a score

Can you rephrase a question when someone doesn't understand you? Can you return the most important information from an answer? Can you tell each other yesterday, today and tomorrow? And can you indicate what word or form is still uncertain? Use such specific questions next to your practice score.

You can check your own short writing with four steps: mark the person forms, encircle the word groups, check gender and number, and then read out loud for meaning. Compare only the grammatical points you have already learned; a model text is not proof that there is only one good formulation.
